Regional diversity and differences in developing of the territory of Russia as factors of contemporary development (religious-philosophical aspect)

Role of the territory in the life of Russia is multifaceted. Unilateral (economic or social) assessment of the territory does not reveal all the importance of the territory for the Russian people. Western economic theory and the domestic liberal economists point out that the territory is often the ballast in economic development, and the resources in the area, such as oil and gas, and allegedly did not give normal development of Russia («oil needle»). At the same time, development of the territory Russia is extremely uneven. Densely populated and well-developed areas of Moscow agglomeration and the South of Russia contrast with huge undeveloped expanses of Siberia and the Far East. As pointed out by philosopher Ivan Ilyin, Russian people has three burdens: earth, nature and the diversity of nationalities. Hard is the cross, but it is given to create a great spiritual culture.
