Regional archives as a document repository on history of political parties in the first years of Soviet power (based on the materials the State archive of Bryansk region)

The article analyzes the corpus of sources of the State Archive of the Bryansk Region on the history of socialists and anarchists in the first years of Soviet power. The classification of historical sources is proposed and the difficulties of working with it are revealed. It is shown that the analysis of sources requires serious methodological training from the researcher.
