The article is devoted to regional aspects of social and cultural problems of motorization of the modern city. The object of study is the problem of motorization of the cities of Primorsky Krai. The purpose of the article is the study of the relations of the inhabitants of Primorsky Krai to the complex socio-cultural problems associated with the motorization of cities in the region. The study of the problems of motorization in Primorsky region dedicated to a very small amount of work that determines the scientific newness of this article. Motorization of Primorye and Vladivostok has important socio-cultural value. In the context of this article, the car is considered not only as a set of technical parameters, and as a special mental representation, and derived from it the way of the action of social agents. Regarding the Primorye we can talk about created over the past two decades the culture of the RHD car as a characteristic of the port city in the Far East. In conclusion it is pointed out that despite a lot of uncomfortable social factors related to the operation of cars, residents of Primorsky Krai get great pleasure from operating the cars. In Primorsky Krai and in Vladivostok with the vehicles largely involve quantitative and qualitative characteristics of jobs. The labor market is highly dependent on the automotive component. Automotive component is an important city-forming factor and a large segment of the local labour market.
