Regional and industry features of ensuring personnel security in agriculture

The article is devoted to the study of theoretical and applied aspects of ensuring personnel security in the agricultural industry of the Lugansk People’s Republic. Scientific approaches to determining the essence of personnel security in the region are considered: process, structural, functional and target. The content of personnel security is defined as a state of protection from threats and risks in the labor resource management system. Regional and sectoral features of ensuring personnel security in agriculture have been identified based on the results of an analysis of the volume, quality and efficiency of the use of labor resources, and the wage system in the industry. A conclusion is made about the scarce state of labor resources in rural areas and the low level of employment in agriculture, which generally restrains the pace of development of the industry and aggravates the problems of forming personnel security in agricultural enterprises. A low level of attractiveness of agricultural production was determined due to low wages in the industry compared to the average level for the region and sectors of the economy. The industry-wide directions for managing personnel security and the prospects for ensuring it in the industry have been systematized, which in general will improve not only the quality of labor resources, but also ensure an increase in labor productivity in the industry.
