Regional features of crop production in Kemerovo region

Maintaining plant growing in industrial regions is complicated not only due to climatic conditions, but also the state and dynamics of the reduction of arable lands. The placement of industrial enterprises for whole territory of Kemerovo Region creates barriers to maintaining plant growing in conditions, habitual for agricultural producers. As well as for many other industrial regions, for Kemerovo Region uneven distribution of agricultural productions across the territory is characteristic. In the study the distribution of cultivated areas, gross collecting and productivity of the main cultures of plant growing on municipal regions of Kemerovo Region is analyzed. It is established that the production of grain and leguminous crops is generally concentrated to Promyshlennovsk and Leninsk-Kuznetsk areas, production of potatoes and vegetables - in Kemerovo and Novokuznetsk areas.
