Regional features of the management of the social protection and family support system with children in Russia

The article examines the essence and mechanisms of managing the system of social protection and support for families with children in Russia, reveals the types of social support for childhood and motherhood, the main measures of the national project "Demography" aimed at improving the quality of life of families with children. The features of the functioning of the social protection system for families with children at the regional level are highlighted. The conclusion is made about the importance of financial instruments of social support for families with children and the need to improve them taking into account the best regional practices.
