Regional entrepreneurial ecosystems: essence and algorithm of formation

The relevance of the study is predetermined by the need to search for directions for the development of entrepreneurship in the regions of the Republic of Belarus in modern conditions, taking into account foreign experience. The article analyzes the origin and essence of the concept of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, presents approaches to determining its structure and the relationship with the cluster concept of regional development. The authors propose an algorithm for the formation of a regional entrepreneurial ecosystem, taking into account the results of a sociological study of factors and barriers to the development of cooperation between entrepreneurs and the main regional stakeholders, conducted in the Vitebsk region. A conclusion is made about the role of universities as key stakeholders in the formation of a regional entrepreneurial ecosystem.
