Regional analysis of breast cancer incidence in the Republic of Ingushetia for 2020-2024

Breast cancer occupies a leading position in the structure of cancer incidence in women. The purpose of the study is to analyze the dynamics and age structure of morbidity in the Republic of Ingushetia in 2020-2024. The data of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Ingushetia on newly identified cases and the number of female population were used. The incidence increased from 54.6 to 62.7 per 100,000 women. The highest detection rate was observed at the age of 50-59 years, and an increase in the number of cases was also recorded among women over 70 years of age. The results highlight the need to improve regional early diagnosis and prevention programs.
