The regional aspect of the events of the Patriotic War of 1812 in the course history of local lore

The article is devoted to the actualization of regional and local research, a comprehensive study of the native land. Historical study of local lore is one of the sources of enrichment with knowledge about the native land, fostering love for it and the formation of civic concepts and skills. In terms of the study of the local history movement in the context of the regional approach of the most important historical events, the events of the Patriotic War of 1812 are of interest.
