An agglutinating activity of Leptinotarsa decemlineata Say hemolymph under the influence of high molecular derivatives of chitin – chitosan and chitosan succinate has been investigated. An experimental model demonstrating features of the immunostimulatory effects of chitosan and chitosan succinate, which is expressed in the induction of the phenoloxidase independent and dependent factors of immunorecognition respectively, has been developed.
