The methodological significance of the category “Single Information Space” (SIS) in the system of the regional economic regulation is shown. The approaches to the structuring of the SIS in the aspects of the regional bioecological safety are defined. Concepts and definitions, related to the SIS are discussed. The transition from the structure “organization-functions-hierarchy” SIS to the approaches of organizational, functional and technological ordering of the system of the regional economic activity is postulated.
