Adjustment of power performances of propellant based on ammonium nitrate

Thermodynamic analysis of power performances of compound solid propellant is given. The main emphasis is given on the ways of increasing the solid propellant efficiency based on ammonium nitrate and determination limits chemistry of high-power compounds can give. The influence of catalytic admixtures on the propellant ability to burn independently at atmospheric pressure is shown. The capabilities to increase the burning rate of propellant are considered.
