Regulation of political consciousness of young people in contemporary Russian society

This article describes the problems of formation and regulation of political consciousness of young people in contemporary Russian society. The role of the political parties and youth organizations involved in the process have been analyzed, the forms of cooperation of youth organizations with political parties have been defined. The dominance of natural self-regulation processes in the formation of political consciousness of young people has been substantiated. Based on the research carried out by the author the degree of influence of political organizations on the processes of self-regulation of youth consciousness has been revealed. It is noted that pro-Kremlin national patriotic movements as well as less noticeable liberal movements play an important role in this process.
