Reconstruction of Oxfordian palaeofacies according to isotopic data (reported from Makaryev-South outcrop)

The paper demonstrates the possibility of using carbon (d13Сcarb), oxygen (d18Оcarb) isotopes in studies of depositional conditions of Oxfordian highly carbonaceous and calcareous sediments, and macrofauna, in the Makaryev-South section. Results of our sedimentological, palaeontological and isotope studies suggest that in Early-Middle Oxfordian climatic and/or facies conditions changed considerably.
