The paper reconstructs female headwear from the Sendimirkinsk cemeteryin the Sura-Sviyaga interfluve. Good state of preservation, accurate field recording andprofessional laboratory examination by a textile restorer made it possible to conduct fulland reliable reconstruction of the item, including its textile components, to the maximumextent possible. Reliable analogies were identified and further evolution of this headweardesign reflected in the artifacts of the Sura and Oka Finns in the period up to the mid-5th century AD was traced down.
