Бесплатный доступ

The article examines the religious and anthropological origins of Russian pedagogical thought, establishes the historical and cultural continuity of the Orthodox doctrinal tradition and pedagogical problems, illustrating all this with the example of such fundamental principles of theology and Christian spirituality as the doctrine of the Holy Trinity and the conciliarity of church life. Emphasis is placed on the correspondence between the event of the Eucharist and the pedagogical model, which consists in the achievement of spiritual perfection by a person through transformation within the Christian community. Examples of philosophical, anthropological and pedagogical ideas expressed in the original and distinctive work of G. S. Skovoroda (1722-1794) and taken in the context of the influence of Orthodox intellectual and spiritual culture on the formation and development of the Russian pedagogical tradition, show that it is precisely these fundamental statements on a person’s striving for inner completeness and moral perfection that lie at the heart of the principles of the domestic pedagogical school, whose potential resources are relevant in the context of the great challenges facing contemporary civilization.
