Religious-vitalistic ontology of archbishop Innokentiy (Borisov)

The paper is an attempt to show the philosophical and metaphysical synthetism of Russian religious philosophy basing on the analysis of the works of Archbishop Innokentiy (Borisov), a prominent Orthodox thinker of the first half of the XIXth century. The author demonstrates Innokentiy’s point of view on such philosophical issues as the nature of life, death, chaos, and the relationship between all elements of the Universe, as well as the nature of originative forces that created it.
