Religious values in the context of social transformations

The article researches how transformation of the religious tradition influences life and knowledge system, which determine world outlook, conceptions of a person, society, state, property and economy of different nations. The author substantiates a thesis, according to which in Russia an Orthodox social archetype is more relevant for a person and society’s development than social archetypes of Catholicism and Protestantism, for it is the Orthodox social archetype (not an existential anthropological one) that form the basis for individual and collective system of goal-setting in the societies developed in the context of the Orthodox tradition.
