Religious and scientific aspects of a culture

The article deals with the theory according to which a religion is considered to be a fundamental principle of a culture. The author analyzes the relation of the religion and the culture, reviews different views, their correlation and interference. Special attention is paid to the correlation of religion and science as a cultural phenomenon, often divergent in its grounds with faith and extra-scientific components.
