Profitability as an indicator of the efficiency of the enterprise

The article considered profitability as an indicator of the effectiveness of the enterprise. Profitability is the most general coefficient by which one can understand how competently the financial and economic activities of an entity are carried out at all its levels. The authors determine the importance of analyzing the profitability indicators of an enterprise, as it helps the management of an enterprise to determine the strengths and weaknesses of its activities, to form ways for further development. Factors affecting the level of profitability were also considered. There are many factors, internal and external, the identification of which will make it possible to find ways to improve the efficiency of production activities.
