The paper discusses the X-ray diffraction yakutites properties. They are endemic na-nomicropolycrystalline lonsdeilit-bearing varieties of natural diamonds disputed origin. Based on the data and experience of production and study of synthetic analogues it is concluded that yakutites are specific diamond facies and differ from Brazilian carbonado.
