The repertoire of genres of scientific-pedagogical discourse

The article discusses the concept of discourse as applied to the educational process in higher school. Speech genre is taken as the basic object of the research, since it is a stable type of utterance, characterized by the thematic, compositional and stylistic unity. The article provides a classification of speech genres, describes the features of their functioning, and identifies the groups of typical utterances, which are priority for the modern scientific-pedagogical communication.
