Representation of cultural diversity: identity, multiculturalism and education

Globalization and new forms of communication has led to the fact that today a person is under the influence of various social groups, he or she compares and makes a choice between ever-changing social contexts and multiple cultures. It is important how a person builds his life, forming an identity and making a cultural choice. Social harmony of coexisting cultures may be achieved if individuals, citizens aim for a dialogue and creation instead of a conflict. For the harmonization of intercultural relations, understanding of cultural traditions and differences, a developed sense of tolerance, the value of education increases, especially education of young individuals, who are most sensitive to changes and are in search of their identities.
