Reliable differences of the species biology various indices in the natural habitats and populated places (the ways of nesting, bird nutrition and behavior) are revealed as the result of studying the white wagtail ecology in the Ryazan city suburbs in 2000-2011. One of the factors that limit the species number in the average and big cities is lack of food, suitable for breeding the nestlings, that sometimes leads to total or partial brood death.
