The solution of personnel problems in the rear region during the Great Patriotic War (on materials of the Gorky region)

This article is devoted to the study of personnel issues during the Great Patriotic War on materials of the Gorky region. This article lists the problems faced by the regional party organization in connection with the departure of the major part of employees and managers to the front. Among them are the lack of personnel, the lack of education, poor political education of staff, and the small number of women in the workplace. The article also shows organizations responsible for the solution of these problems. In addition, the article analyzes the specific examples of the negative work with personnel of some companies, and then presents examples of how some of them corrected the situation and implemented personnel policies, trained newcomers for production workers, raising their level of qualification. The article describes the importance of political education and outreach of the Communist party.
