Restructuring the education system in the context of innovative development of the economy

Today the process of modernization and restructuring of the Russian education is not similar to that in other countries. Technological progress and changes in the technological modes demand from the education system a more flexible and, what is more important, quicker reaction to the changes in the labour market demand and in the society on the whole. On the basis of a special sociological survey of administrators, workers, and teachers were revealed shortcomings in the training of specialists. The author proposes measures for improvement of the present situation in the national education.
