One of the main tasks of agricultural technology is to minimize resource costs per unit of production. In the total heat losses of greenhouses of year-round use, approximately 95% are losses through translucent enclosing structures. Therefore, in order to reduce energy costs, the area of the enclosing structures of the cultivation facility should be minimal. The purpose of the study have provided for the derivation of formulas to justify energy-saving space-planning parameters of greenhouses offered by the market for farms, and a comparative assessment of various types of structures. Formulas for determining the minimum coefficient of greenhouse fencing of various shapes are obtained, on the basis of which their comparison is carried out on heat losses and material consumption for enclosing structures.
