Retrospective estimation of main neurologic syndromes of chronic radiation sickness for 40-year follow-up

Retrospective estimation of main neurologic syndromes of chronic radiation sickness for 40 years of follow-up of 541 workers of multiprofile enterprise of atomic industry, who had been exposed to combined ionizing radiation (mainly external gamma-radiation) at closes considerably exceeded permissible level, was made. It was shown that rate and structure of neurologic symptoms of chronic radiation sickness had retained for 20 years from the beginning of the contact. Levels of radiation doses from external gamma-radiation (magnitude of integrated dose and maximal annual dose) caused formation of main neurologic syndromes of chronic radiation sickness were established.
