Retrospective analysis of large mineral and infrastructure projects influence on the development of settlements in Jewish autonomous region

The paper provides historical coverage of the mineral resource base development in Jewish Autonomous region, for the period from the middle of the 19th to the end of the 20th century. The author has explored the mining industry impact on appearance and development of settlements network in the region.
