In the article, the main sources of the Old Russian right regarding the existence of provisions providing responsibility for sexual crimes are considered. The rules of law criminalizing various violent acts are defined. The author in this research the value of an ecclesiastical law and impact of religious views on the establishment of responsibility for sexual crimes in the Ancient Russia comes to light.
