Spiritual revolutionaries (A.Blok and V.Mayakovsky)

The article is devoted to the study of literary interconnections between V.Mayakovsky and A.Blok. The analysis of their poetic languages proves their genetic affinity, in particular the fact that futurist Mayakovsky followed many traditions of younger symbolist A.Blok; in particular, ambivalence of their personas rooted in alienation from the world and desire to merge with it; perception of the world and people with romanticized uncompromisingness, language and verse experiments conforming to the time
