The second wave of economic crisis is developing in the US economy. The anti-crisis policy of the Democratic administration of Barack Obama had proved to be ineffective. It managed to stabilize the financial system and partly the economy, but the causes of the crisis have not been eliminated: the effective demand has remained weak and supported by loans. This led to a deterioration of the situation in the real economy after 2014. There was a split of the US ruling class. The group led by Donald Trump advocated a protectionist policy. This slogan has consolidated wider social strata. As a result, Trump won the US presidential elections. Donald Trump, being blocked politically, cannot implement his plan, which would allow the United States to overcome the lack of effective demand. However, there is a huge bubble in the US stock market (greater than in 2007). It will inevitably burst. This will cause a new shock. It is evident that overcoming the crisis needs a new economic strategy.
