Resilience of social systems: the essence of the concept and its applicability at different levels of society

The article deals with the specific interdisciplinary phenomenon of resilience, which is able to penetrate into various branches of knowledge, such as sociology, public administration, and ecosystem management, at the theoretical and conceptual level. The authors consider it fruitful to transfer the study of this phenomenon at the level of an individual to society, social systems, management systems, and control subsystems. Aspects of the applicability of the concept of resilience at the level of social and socio-economic systems, as well as at the level of managing entities in the context of their management activities are analyzed.
