Resistance, hematological parameters and productive features in cows of the Swiss breed during mountain distant-pasture keeping

The author investigated the effect of mountain distant-pasture keeping on morphological and biochemical parameters of the blood and estimated the main valuable for the breeding determinants in native cattle population of the Swiss breed in comparison with hybrid forms created with use of genofond of the Swiss breed of American selection. It was shown that the cows of first calving of native population have more higher parameters of cellular and humoral resistance independently of keeping conditions, and studied parameters increased at favorable conditions of mountain pastures independently of cows origin.
