Resonance scattering of ultrashort X-ray pulses in a dense coupled plasma

In terms of the full probability during the entire time of pulse action, we consider the resonance scattering of ultrashort x-ray free electron laser pulses (XFEL) on bound electrons of Si13+ ions in a dense plasma. The particularities of scattering cross-section spectrum change with plasma density increase are highlighted. We study how these particularities impact the full probability dependence on the XFEL carrier frequency. Moreover, we consider the full probability as a function of XFEL spikes duration and demonstrate that this dependence could be nonmonotonic with small spikes durations. The main trends of this dependence are established, and the dynamics of nonlinear areas are assessed.
