The impact of the investment policy of the Kaluga region for its development

In the research paper, an estimate of results and problems of development in the Kaluga region on the basis of regional statistical indicators, international estimates and results of author’s research is given. The paper states the problems of this development: falling-off ecology situation, increase in a labor migration and increase of a difference in territorial development. Based on analyses, it is shown, that the government of the Kaluga region should actively involve investors in solving not only the economic, but also the social problems of the region.
