Results of 35-years researches of СO2 contents in the atmosphere of Moscow by astronomical method

We show that astronomical monitoring of atmospheric gases content in cities and industrial centers allows to obtain the most representative data. In Moscow, in 1969-1991, the СO2 concentration had been growing moderately and by the end of the period it had increased by 48 %. Then, the positive trend grew dramatically, and by 1999 the carbon dioxide content in the Moscow atmosphere had exceeded the 1969 level by 2.5 times. With the turn of the new millennium, the C02 concentration growth stopped and at present it keeps at the 2003 level.
