The burial ground of Ust-Tartasskie Kurgany is one of the largest monuments of Novosibirsk Region, which functioned from the 7th century BC to the 9th century AD. In 2016, earthen burial ground was discovered at the site with the help of magnetic survey. Excavations have shown that the burial ground belonged to the Neolithic-Early and Advanced Bronze Age. In 2017, the area of the magnetic survey was significantly expanded, and anomalies associated with archaeological objects were identified. The article discusses the monitoring of the current condition of the group of burial mounds. The areas with completely plowed up burial mounds have been identified by comparing the actual site with the plan made by S. M. Chugunov in the late 19th century. The prospects of finding these burial mounds using the method of magnetic survey with the subsequent mapping on the plan of the burial ground are discussed.
