Results of surgical treatment of locally advanced gastric cancer depending on different tumor invasion of adjanced structures

Studied the short- and long-term results of surgical treatment of locally advanced gastric cancer, depending on the destruction of tumor invasion of adjacent structures of different. The relatively favorable long-term outcomes were observed in lesions of the liver (5-year survival rate reached 44,4%), mesentery of the transverse colon (29,3%) and colon (33,3%). Adverse prognostic factors include the spread of gastric cancer in the retroperitoneal tissue (5-year survival rate was 5,9%), spleen (9,1%) and pancreas (10,9%).
