Introduction results were estimated for 70 species and subspecies of European tree plants in the Botanical garden of the Institute of Biology. Species with areas, covering northern part of Europe, are winter-hardy and have phonological rhythm close to the Komi Republic environmental conditions. Species with southern areas in our region demand increased total temperatures to go through the full seasonal development cycle. So they often frost up in winter. We found certain prospects in European tree species introduction in connection with global warming. About 50 species and subspecies may be recommended for settlement gardening.
