Results of the study of handmade ceramics from 2010-2012 excavations at the Vestnik-1 settlement and necropolis

The paper spells out results of studying original ceramic paste and moldingcompounds of handmade ceramics dating to the end of the 6th - early 3rd centuries BCfound at the Vestnik-1 settlement. The author uses methods of technical and technologicalanalysis developed by A. A. Bobrinskiy. Several groups of ceramics made in differentcultural and historical traditions are singled out. The tradition of pottery making developedby the local population is defined.
