Results of ecological trial of varieties and hybrids of spring rapeseed under the conditions of Western Siberia

The ecological trial was carried out on the experimental fields of the Siberian Experimental Station and Branch of the All-Russian Science and Research Institute of Oil Crops in 2016-2018. Object of the study were several varieties and hybrids of spring rapeseed bred at the All-Russian Science and Research Institute of Oil Crops, the All-Russian Science and Research Institute of Plant Industry and other breeding institutions, which were represented by 14 samples including 12 different varieties: Yubileynyy - control sample, Kupol, Granit, 55region, Tavrion, Ruyan, Amulet, Flagman, Antares, Sirius, Highlight, Hunter, and 2 hybrids: Ozorno, Salsa. The aim of research was a comprehensive study of the biological potential of new spring rapeseed varieties and hybrids bred at the All-Russian Science and Research Institute of Oil Crops and other research institutions under the conditions of Western Siberia; as well as the identification, on the basis of field experiments and laboratory analyses, of highly productive, stress-resistant varieties and hybrids which might be suitable for cultivation in the Siberian Region...
