The trend in the development of agricultural machinery in crop production provides for the development of technical means to ensure the implementation of accurate technologies. In the complex of activities for pre-sowing tillage in the cultivation of small - seed crops such as flax, special attention is paid to the quality of preparation of the surface of the soil horizon. One of the technological processes of pre-sowing tillage is leveling, which provides not only a decrease in crests, but also the creation of the necessary density at the level of the seedbed of the soil. Determination of technological modes of working bodies used for pre-sowing preparation of soil for sowing flax is the main purpose of the field experience on sod-podzolic soils. On the basis of theoretical research, results of a patent search and a survey of experiments designed design innovative equalizer of runner soil type. The technique of field experience and mathematical processing of the results of the study of the influence of factors of pre - sowing tillage on the change of its properties in the cultivation of flax is proposed. The results of the analysis of the data obtained in the performance of multivariate field experience, confirmed the results of theoretical and laboratory studies of innovative soil leveler. The optimal technological modes of operation and design parameters of the equalizer during pre - sowing tillage for flax sowing have been established.
