The results of Strashnaya cave field investigation in the 2014

Archaeological research of Strashnaya Cave was renewed by Charysh team of IAET SB RAS during the field season in 2014. Three lithological units included six cultural layers were investigated in the course of excavation. As a result obtained collection consists of 569 lithic artifacts totally. Received collections of artifacts imply that complexes of cultural layers 1 and 2 are associated with Bronze Age and later occupation phases in the cave. As suppose three episodes of the cave occupation presents in the cultural layers 3 1а, 3 1b and 3 3. They are associated with various cultural chronological stages of Upper Paleolithic in the region.
