The article shows the results of research on the culture of onion batun when it is grown in an annual culture. Later maturing forms have been identified, which is important for green crops. The samples that are proposed to be used in breeding work as genetic sources on the basis of the duration of the interphase period "shoots-autumn yellowing of leaves" are selected, these are samples №24, №32, №105, №107, №127, №128.
