The article presents the results of rescue archaeological excavations at the archaeological heritage site - the settlement of Syroy Agan-28. During the excavations, three archaeologized structures with external pits and the cultural layer between the objects were excavated. Originally, archaeological structure 1 looked like a two-chamber structure; excavations revealed a square frame and pillar structure with an extension - an inner porch - at the north side. The building had a conical roof. In the center of the main building there was an open hearth contoured with a wooden frame. In the south-western corner of the porch there was a closed heating device. Archaeological structure 2 (dwelling) represented a hexagonal frame-pillar construction with a cone-shaped roof; an open-type hearth was located in the center, and a tambour at the south side. At the western side of the dwelling there was an extension made of poles with an open ground hearth. Inside the residential structure, there were earthen bunks with wooden frames to the right and left of the entrance. Archaeological structure 3 shows a square frame-pillar structure with a cone-shaped roof; an open hearth is located in the center. All constructions of the archeological structures burned probably at the same time. Archaeological materials are comprised of household, hunting, and fishing tools, as well as faunal remains. The settlement showed various forms and structural elements of buildings. Among the found archaeological objects there are almost no pottery fragments, the available potsherds are inexpressive. Based on the totality of the derived data, we consider it possible to date the settlement of Syroy Agan-28 to the period of the 13th-16th centuries AD and attribute it to the Saigatinskaya archaeological culture. Further work on the archaeological materials and the results of radiocarbon dating allow us to clarify the issues that have arisen in the course of research.
