The probe measurements results of dielectric surface potential in a gap with single-charger corona discharge

The potential distribution on dielectric film surface is registered at presence negative single-charge corona for different discharge gap. It was shown that the increase of the needle-shaped cathode height lead to increase of a potential at peripherals of a charge spot which accomplished by the decrease of potential gradient on dielectric surface. The obtained results may be facilitate additional stabilization of gas-discharge processes in unipolar barrier corona.
