Risk-oriented thinking to increase the performance of the quality management system

The quality management system of an enterprise in any industry is the key not only to its high-quality work, but also to increasing the financial attractiveness of the enterprise. The introduction of a risk-based approach into the current quality management system is closely related to improving its effectiveness. In order to maintain competitiveness and achieve the goals set by the enterprise, it is necessary to identify and analyze risks at all stages of production in a timely manner. This article discusses the basic requirements for risk management in accordance with the international standard ISO 9001:2015. Recommendations on the implementation of a risk-based approach are proposed, a risk identification plan is considered, and ways to reduce and prevent risks are presented. The advantages of using risk-based thinking to increase the competitiveness of an enterprise by ensuring the stability of the quality of products are shown.
