The risk of decision making in conditions of uncertainty: features of manifestation

The article refers to the core risk management agenda whereby a growing frequency of the uncertainty appearances (i.e. "economic crisis") across last two decades stimulates innovation-oriented companies to reimagine an Internal Control System over existing risks by digging into the decision-making risk. The importance of the risk of decision-making in conditions of uncertainty by innovation-oriented companies is demonstrated by the example of the Nokia brand. The paper substantiates the need to develop an approach to the formation of an innovation-oriented risk management strategy by companies in the conditions of increased uncertainty.
