Challenges and risks of social consolidation of the Russian society in conditions of civilizational transformation

The article deals with topical problems of strengthening the social consolidation of Russian society. Social consolidation is the most important strategic task of a transforming society, at the same time it has a pronounced situational political certainty of the moment, as it is happening now. The authors study a wide range of political risks of the optimal model of social consolidation under conditions of civilizational transformation, western sanctions and Russophobia and consider interests of social groups in the process of consolidation of society, civil society and the level of trust in the authorities. The paper shows some risks of digital transformation for social consolidation, as well as the civilizational aspects of the latter. The authors propose a mechanism for preventing these risks.
